The Plirder Pledge:
I know that litter is bad for birds, and I want to help remove it from their environment. I promise to pick up litter while birding whenever practical and to dispose of it responsibly. I know that plastics, monofilament and lead tackle or bullets are the most dangerous for birds, and that removing even one piece of trash each time I go birding has a positive impact. I will reduce, reuse and recycle as much as possible to create less trash in the environment which may harm birds, and I promise to tell others about plirding!
